FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to experimental medicine. Anaesthesia is followed by a longitudinal incision along the lateral surface of the neck at the border of the middle and posterior one-third of the clavicular-mastoid muscle, 1 cm lateral from the midline in the projection of the external jugular vein. Then, the external jugular vein is bluntly separated in layers, after which it is catheterised by the central venous catheter under visual control. An external jugular vein is ligatured directly above a catheterization place, a catheter is fixed to a vein by two ligatures. Thereafter, a canal in subcutaneous fat is formed in a blunt manner, directed into inter-blade area, where a skin incision is made with a length sufficient to withdraw the catheter cannula through which the catheter cannula is removed, the catheter is fixed to the skin. Venous blood is sampled from the catheter.
EFFECT: method enables performing venous blood sampling for a long period of time according to experiment time.
