FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of information technologies, namely to image processing technologies. Method for two-dimensional discrete filtration of objects, comprising frame-by-frame generation of an image video signal, measuring samples of the autocorrelation function and energy of each frame of the image, selecting a reference, measurement of readings of its autocorrelation function, normalization of measured readings of the image and reference relative to the measured energy of the video signal, when setting the reference, forming its window with dimensions exceeding dimensions of the standard and the detected object, readings of the standard autocorrelation function are measured from the preset reference window, and the filter aperture is selected in the range from (m + 1) × (n + 1) to (2m + 1) × (2n + 1), where m × n are linear dimensions of detected object.
EFFECT: technical result of disclosed invention is high probability of distinguishing detected objects.
