METHOD OF TWO-DIMENSIONAL DISCRETE FILTERING OF OBJECTS Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC G06V10/20

Abstract RU 2806653 C1

FIELD: discrete filtering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for two-dimensional discrete filtering of objects. The technical result of the invention is to increase the accuracy of identifying detected objects at the boundaries of the image. The method contains the following steps: frame-by-frame formation of a video image signal, measurement of samples of the autocorrelation function and energy of each frame, selection of a standard, formation of a standard window exceeding the dimensions of the standard and the detected object, measurement of samples of the autocorrelation function of the standard window, normalization of samples of the video signal of the image and the standard window relative to the measured video signal energy, synthesis of a two-dimensional discrete filter and threshold detection of an object by the synthesized filter, while in the method when synthesizing a two-dimensional discrete filter, its configuration is formed not only with the largest element in the centre, but the largest filter element is placed in any other position, using when determining samples each filter has different combinations of autocorrelation function samples and a different order of pixel-by-pixel traversal of the image during its processing, the maximum possible number of filters is (2m+1)(2n+1), where m×n are the linear dimensions of the detected object, the minimum number of filters required to detect an object at the edges of the image is four with the largest element located in the angular positions of the aperture.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of identifying detected objects at the boundaries of the image.
