FIELD: vehicle glasses.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicle glasses and is intended for the manufacture of electrochromic automotive glass. Automotive glass with variable transparency contains the first and second glass sheets superimposed on each other, on the adjacent surfaces of which electrically conductive layers are made, between which an electrochromic working substance is placed. Busbars for connecting the power supply are fixed to the electrically conductive layers. All glass sheets and electrically conductive layers are completely or partially transparent at least in part of the visible optical spectrum. Automotive glass is equipped with a thermal switch made with the possibility of turning off or significantly reducing the power supply to mentioned tires when the working substance exceeds the threshold temperature value, which is lower than the degradation temperature of the electrochromic working substance.
EFFECT: prevents degradation of the electrochromic working substance when using automotive glass.
