Invention consists in that the electrochromic device includes a working electrode based on tungsten oxide, a counter electrode and a polymer lithium-containing electrolyte, while a counter electrode with a high intercalation capacity with respect to lithium ions (Li+).

EFFECT: technical result: providing the possibility of high contrast between colored and discolored states, the achievement of maximum service life.
