FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for identifying permanent magnets on the basis of the three-dimensional magnetization of an experimental batch made of the same alloy mark, shape and geometry. The method for identifying permanent magnets and the device in the form of a test bench take into account the three-dimensional magnetization of the prototype permanent magnets according to the magnetic force of repulsion thereof from the magnetic reflector at different distances therebetween as well as makes it possible to determine whether the experimental data are in conformity with the normal distribution law.
EFFECT: technical result is identification of permanent magnets with a volume greater than 6·10-5 m3 and a high coercive force (more than 800 kA/m).
