FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to identification of permanent magnets by volumetric magnetisation from experimental batch made from identical alloy, shape and geometry. Device for determining identical magnetization of prototypes of permanent magnets comprises base, desktop electronic scales, LED display with touch-sensitive control buttons, steel post fixed in stand base, container from non-magnetic material with flat blind bottom and cover screwed from above, having vertical slot for visualization of gap between interacting objects, a prototype of a permanent magnet, a magnetic reflector to counteract the approach to the test specimen of the permanent magnet, a line of non-magnetic material, a support with a guide which provides stability of the container and uniform distribution of the load on the weighing platform, a movable rod in form of a steel core, intended for fixation of prototype of permanent magnet inside container and axial centering of application of external force; adjusting screw for changing the gap between interacting objects. Depending on the shape and declared magnetic properties of the prototype of the permanent magnet, a magnetic reflector is selected, as well as the shape and size of the non-magnetic container.
