FIELD: electrical engineering and power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the fields of electrical engineering and power engineering and can be used at power plants to assess the technical condition of the insulation of the stator winding of turbine generators connected to the network by measuring partial discharges in them.the device for monitoring the insulation of the stator winding of the turbine generator contains bus sensors and network sensors, which are electrically connected by coaxial cables of the same length with the measuring device. The device is supplemented with interconnected units for determining the size and location of the defect, which are connected to the measuring device by a coaxial cable.
EFFECT: increased reliability and informational content of diagnostics of the insulation state by determining the size and location of defects in the insulation of the stators winding of turbine generators during their operation in the network.
