FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to purification and activation of water and can be used, in particular, for heap leaching of precious metals from support ores and technogenic mineral raw material, as well as for cleaning and improving quality of underground water. Method involves purification of water from dissolved contaminants and hardness salts, activation thereof with use of active hydrated compounds, formed in it by electrochemical treatment of ion sodium salt and ion of chlorine and sulphate ions pre-purified by ionic exchange from dissolved salts on hydrocarbon-ions. After that treated water flow is subject to secondary ion exchange: sodium ions on hydrogen ions, hydrocarbonate ions on hydroxyl ions, which when combined form new active water molecules.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of degree of water purification from dissolved substances and increase of its activity.
