FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the exploration and development of mineral deposits for the treatment of groundwater contaminated as a result of man-made impact. To carry out the process, water is purified from mechanical impurities in filter (1), separating the water treated in deironing filter (3) into two streams with a volume ratio of 0.85:0.15. Flow, which is smaller in volume, first passes electrochemical (4), and then photochemical treatment (5) with the formation of hydroxyl ions, hydronium ions, hydrogen peroxide in it. This stream is then combined with the intake water to oxidize ferrous iron with these compounds and form ferric hydroxide, which precipitates in filter material (2) containing polysilicic acids. Freshly formed iron hydroxide precipitated by filtering material (2) in filter (3) sorbs the ions of manganese, heavy metals, arsenic and antimony.
EFFECT: method provides an increase in the degree of purification from the polluting components and increases the dissolved oxygen content in the treated water for its consumption as a drinking water.
