FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship power plants, in particular, to main marine power plants with toothed reduction gearboxes with tire-pneumatic couplings. Main ship power plant with bus-pneumatic couplings comprises engine, with power shaft of which is connected input or drive shaft, installed with possibility of damping of gear reducer, including gear transmissions installed on hollow shaft with output shaft arranged in it and output gear wheel. Hollow and output shafts have outlet ends extending to two sides of the reduction gear, tire-pneumatic couplings, air supply device, pneumatic lines, throttle and shutoff valves with drives, coupling sleeves, bearings and connected to one of output ends of output shaft of reduction gear propeller shaft with propeller shaft screw. At both output ends of the hollow shaft of the output gear wheel and the output shaft of the gear reducer, such ends can be connected to the pneumatic couplings, to which are connected from connected by a pneumatic line with shutoff valves in it with ship pneumatic system of air supply device pneumatic lines of connection and disconnection with shutoff valves installed in them. In the pneumatic line of connection to one or any of pneumo-flexible couplings the throttle is made with possibility of regulation.
EFFECT: higher reliability of main ship power plant.
