FIELD: engine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electric drive for gas turbine engine inlet guide vanes, wherein electric drive (100) comprises fixed section (104), attached to stationary section of engine, and movable section (102), which is mechanically connected to input guide vanes, stationary electromagnets (108a–108h), uniformly distributed along periphery of movable section and fixed to fixed section, and movable electromagnets (110a–110h) located between stationary electromagnets, wherein each movable electromagnet (110a–110h) is attached on both sides to first and second piezoelectric elements (114a–114h and 116a, 116h), movable electromagnets and first and second piezoelectric elements have degree of freedom of movement relative to said movable section.

EFFECT: using this new electrical architecture eliminates structural excess of sizes of systems of prior art and fuel circuit, thus, can be optimized independently of control function of inlet guide vanes.
