FIELD: solid fuel processing; gas generators.
SUBSTANCE: gas generator comprises a vertically disposed housing, an inner working chamber disposed in the housing with a gap, in which the gasification process is occurred, a gas outlet pipe, tuyere belt with tuyeres for supplying oxidant into the working chamber, an ash chamber disposed at the bottom of the housing, a loading device. The loading device is located at the bottom of the housing and provides forced movement of fuel from the bottom up. The working chamber is a hollow volumetric body having an arbitrary shape in cross-section and having no upper base, installed with a gap relatively to the end and side surfaces of the housing, which is a hollow volumetric body with a cross-section of an arbitrary shape. It is possible for ash to enter the ash chamber through the gap between the housing and the working chamber, and in the upper part of the working chamber, a "boiling layer" of gasification products is formed.
EFFECT: invention prevents the formation of a dense arch over the combustion chamber from the resin-soaked charred particles and creates a "boiling layer", which causes complete thermal decomposition of the fuel.
