FIELD: metal rolling.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rolling equipment, particularly, to hot rolling mill forming rolls cooling devices and systems. Technical problem of the proposed solution is aimed at increasing the productivity and improving the quality of the surface and edge of rolled sheets of the hot rolling mill by providing the required rolling force. Cooling device of upper working roll of rolling mill includes pump station connected to pipeline of cooling liquid supply, cooling liquid supply manifolds located on side surfaces of upper working roll, coolant discharge pipelines and substitute chute. Collectors of cooling liquid supply are equipped with wetted material adjacent to side surface of upper working roll, in pipelines of cooling liquid supply pump station to manifolds are installed electromagnetic valves.

EFFECT: technical result of the disclosed solution is aimed at excluding the ingress of cooling liquid onto the rolled strip to provide the required deformation temperature interval.
