SUBSTANCE: invention relates namely to experimental surgery and can be used to close the bronchus stump. The method includes squeezing the bronchus at the base. A net cord made of nickel-titanium thread 40-50 μm thick is used as a squeezing agent. In this case, the end of the bronchus at the level of the proposed resection is deformed, bending the membranous part until it contacts the cartilaginous part. The ends of the cartilaginous part are brought together until they overlap and the stump area is wrapped with 2-3 turns of the specified mesh cord, fixing the turns with a knot. The distal part of the bronchus is resected.

EFFECT: method provides reliable sealing of the bronchus stump, shortening the duration of the operation and the healing time of the bronchus stump, reducing the likelihood of postoperative complications due to the use of a cord and bringing the ends of the cartilaginous part of the bronchus together with overlapping.
