SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the sealing of different units which must be sealed during prolonged storage and when a working medium enters said units, the sealing device must be opened at a certain pressure. The pipeline sealing device which is installed at a location of a changing high-pressure area, comprises a plug with an annular flange formed by a conical section in the longitudinal section, a cap made of elastic material inserted inside the plug and contacting by its side walls with the inner walls of an annular flange which is provided with a conical base with a blind cylindrical opening from the side of the sealed cavity and on the other side is provided with a lug having a conical surface contacting the conical section of the plug. The cap is designed as a combined, the locking part of the cap which is in contact with the cylindrical section of the annular flange is made of an elastic material with a cylindrical section the diameter of which is bigger than the diameter of the sealed cylindrical section of the plug. The lug of the cap is made of an erosion resistant press-material, in the blind central opening of which the locking part of the plug is installed. The length of the cylindrical section of the cap protruding above the lug exceeds the length of the sealed cylindrical section of the plug and the expansion angle of the conical section of the plug exceeds the expansion angle of the conical lug of the cap.

EFFECT: invention ensures the tightness and guaranteed overhang of the cap.
