FIELD: fire extinguishing.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an air filtration system with a fire extinguishing system, a fire extinguishing system in an air filtration system, a method of fire extinguishing in an air filtration system using a fire extinguishing system. The air filtration system with a fire extinguishing system includes at least: a prefilter; an electrostatic unit located in front of the filter unit including at least a charger and an electric filter; a ventilator; a filter unit including at least an adsorption catalytic filter and a precipitating filter; and a fire extinguishing system. The fire extinguishing system includes at least: two valves made configured to simultaneously close and localize the fire source, wherein one inlet valve is located before the filter unit and the second outlet valve is located after the filter unit; a spark arrester located between the electrostatic unit and the filter unit; control unit configured to receive signals and control the system elements; a fire detector located in the filter unit; fire extinguishing agent generator.

EFFECT: technical result consists in efficient and fireproof operation of the air filtration system with a fire extinguishing system due to the fire extinguishing system which provides precaution, prevention and elimination of fire in the air filtration system, and in prevention of the spread of flame in the ventilation system and beyond, and hence, in prevention an inside fire.
