SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to gynaecology, and can be used for prediction of development of ovarian dysfunction and evaluation of clinical effectiveness in adolescent girls suffering obesity. In adolescent girls suffering obesity E66.1 according to ICD-X, the ELISA blood serum concentration of leptin and soluble leptin receptors is determined by calculating the free leptin index (IPL). If the leptin values are >27.4 ng/ml, and the ICL > 181.03 - there is a high risk of ovarian dysfunction development, the forecast of the menstrual recovery is unfavourable, the treatment is considered to be ineffective.

EFFECT: method enables predicting disease course - formation of ovarian dysfunction in adolescent girls suffering from drug-induced obesity, by determining the blood concentration of leptin and soluble leptin receptors, which enables to detect the presence of leptin-resistance; timely use of the etiopathogenetic therapy and avoiding polyphragmasia, as well as objective evaluation of the effectiveness of the therapy.
