SUBSTANCE: the invention relates to a construction material and to a method for producing a construction material. The method for producing the construction material includes the first stage of curing the material of the inner layer containing a hydraulic material, the silica-containing material and the aluminum powder, to produce a foamed inner layer, with the aluminum powder entering into a reaction with bubble formation, and both the hydraulic materia, and the silica-containing material are not completely solidified; the second stage of the distribution of the surface layer material containing the hydraulic material and the silica-containing material, to obtain a non-foamed surface layer; the third stage of laying the foamed inner layer on the non-foamed surface layer to obtain a bundle containing the non-foamed surface layer and the foamed inner layer; and the fourth stage of pressing and curing of the bundle, with the production of a construction material having a ratio of the mass of the non-foamed surface layer to the mass of the foamed inner layer of 10-45:55-90.Construction material versions are also described.
