FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to valve manufacturing, and can be used in oil and gas production, petrochemical and power engineering. Spindle SSA of wedge gate valve for underground pipelines, including body with wedge lock and cover, in which spindle of wedge lock movement is located, comprises female spindle, sealing unit from sealing elements, arranged in cylindrical cavity, limited by a bottom with central hole, made with possibility of spindle free movement in it, with belt-like arrangement on the bottom of said sealing elements, which are elastic. In the cylindrical cavity concentrically to the spindle between the sealing elements there is a lining ring, and from above there is a support ring. Above the support ring there is a block of sliding seals, with the upper end of which the flange of the cover is conjugated with the possibility of axial compression of sealing elements of the unit by means of threaded attachment of the flange to the cover. Unit has tightness control channel. Cylindrical cavity consists of two cylindrical chambers of different diameter, smaller of which is a sealing unit. In smaller chamber there is at least one sealing element made in form of annular cuff made of elastic resilient material heat-resistant at temperature (−60 °C)–(+110 °C) U-shaped cross-section with a shelf and side walls oriented towards gate valve body. Lower sealing element of the first tier is installed on the bottom of the smaller chamber. On the flange of the sealing element of the next tier there are lining rings, which are made of bronze and have adjustable mounting thickness, with possibility of tight fit of collars in sealing unit in space from bottom of lower chamber to support bronze ring, conjugated with upper cuff flange and made two-stage. Upper mounting part of the support ring is equal to the diameter of the cylinder of the larger chamber. Its lower support part has a geometrical surface corresponding to the mounting surface adjoining it in the smaller chamber. Backing ring is installed on top of sealing elements, and on it there are thrust semi-rings of bronze, having outer cylindrical surface with diameter equal to diameter of upper chamber cylinder, conjugated with corresponding cylindrical recess, made in case cover, and inner cylindrical surface with diameter not less than spindle diameter. Sealing elements of the unit of sliding seals are made in the form of rings out of thermally expanded graphite.

EFFECT: technical result of using invention consists in improvement of reliability of wedge gate valve at exclusion of current maintenance to planned repair at its underground location.
