FIELD: wellhead sealing.
SUBSTANCE: claimed method for sealing the wellhead, operated by the installation of a borehole sucker rod pump with lifting products along the production string, and a sealing device for a self-aligning wellhead gland for sealing the wellhead when replacing stuffing box seals. The method for sealing the wellhead, operated by the installation of a downhole sucker rod pump with the rise of production along the production string, includes the analysis of the air environment. Stopping the pumping unit, closing the linear valve, loosening the locknut under the upper cover of the self-aligning wellhead gland, removing the packing follower, pressure ring, upper gland packing. Packing of stuffing box cuffs, assembly of a self-aligning wellhead stuffing box and start-up. Before the operation of the borehole sucker rod pump, the lower chamber is additionally installed on the self-aligning wellhead gland body; before the lower chamber is installed, a lock nut is screwed onto the ball head. The lower chamber is assembled sequentially, a support ring is installed through a polished rod, then poppet cuffs with an inner diameter of 35 mm, intermediate rings, a pressure ring, an insert, a sleeve are placed between the cuffs, the body of the lower chamber is screwed onto the ball head from above. The stuffing box body is screwed to the upper thread of the lower chamber, the locknut of the lower chamber is pressed with a force sufficient to crush the cuffs, excluding friction of the cuffs with the polished rod, and preventing rotation of the stuffing box body. Before loosening the locknut under the upper cover of the self-aligning wellhead gland, tighten the locknut under the lower chamber with a force that provides compression and tight pressing of the belleville cuffs of the lower chamber to the outer surface of the polished rod. After packing the stuffing boxes in the stuffing box body, loosen the locknut under the lower chamber so as to prevent compression of the poppet rings. A self-aligning wellhead seal is also announced.
EFFECT: improving the manufacturability and reliability of repair work on replacing stuffing box collars (seals), expanding the scope, reducing oil shortfalls, simplifying, while improving manufacturability and reliability, repair work on replacing stuffing box collars (seals).
