FIELD: valving.

SUBSTANCE: wedge-shaped valve gate comprises housing with central and through openings, flanges mounted in the housing of the seat, and wedge that cooperates with seats. The wedge is connected with expandable spindle. The spindle is set in the central opening of the housing and is mounted for permitting movement inside the housing. The lid of the vale gate has the gland chamber that receives gland seal. The free end of the spindle is provided with the drive. Inner side of the ends of the housing and outer side of the flanges are provided with thread. The ends of the flanges are provided with necks. The housing is provided with grooves. The grooves are interposed between the flange necks and housing grooves. The grooves receive metallic rings with L-shaped cross-section.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
