FIELD: coating technologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of gas-dynamic powder materials coating and can be used in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, automotive industry, energy, construction and oil and gas industry. The installation for cold gas-dynamic coating contains a source of carrier gas, a heater for heating a part of the carrier gas located in front of the mixing chamber with a nozzle block, a control system that regulates the mass flow rate of the other part of the carrier gas, a heater for applied powder, and at least one powder dispenser. The above-mentioned heater of the applied powder is an induction heater installed in the line connecting at least one powder dispenser and the mixing chamber with the nozzle block. Said control system is configured to supply another part of the carrier gas through at least one dispenser to supply the powder to the induction heater, and then to the mixing chamber with the nozzle unit to form a heterogeneous flow for coating.
EFFECT: ability to accurately adjust the temperature of the supplied powder and high efficiency of the energy used to heat the powder particles, while reducing the time of influence of air oxygen on the heated powder, which ensures better preservation of the properties of the powder material and, as a consequence, improves the properties of the coating. Along with this, the utilization rate of the powder increases, since all powder particles, regardless of the different mass, are heated to the assumed temperature.
