FIELD: deposition of coatings from powder materials. SUBSTANCE: method includes formation of flow of carrier gas, introduction into flow of powder material particles, their mixing with carrier gas, supply of produced gas-powder mixture to accelerating supersonic nozzle and deposition of powder material to article surface with the aid of gas flow. In so doing, prior to introduction of powder material particles of coating, carrier gas is heated and pulsated. Particles of powder material of coating is mixed with pulsing flow of carrier gas. Powder material of coating is deposited onto article surface in pulsing mode with frequency of pulsation of supersonic gas-powder jet of 2-50 Hz.
