FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aluminum powder materials for making parts using additive technologies, including selective laser synthesis. Powdered aluminum material is produced by gas spraying and contains, wt %: magnesium 4.5–6.5; chromium 0.35–0.80; zirconium 0.40–1.0; boron 0.002–0.12; manganese, iron, nickel total 0.05–0.8; aluminum and inevitable impurities—the rest. Ratio of chromium and zirconium is selected so that their co-solubility in aluminum increases and the appearance of coarse intermetallides is avoided.
EFFECT: technical result is higher strength while maintaining high level of relative elongation, high thermal stability and absence of defects of type of hot cracks.
