FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to a system for monitoring and treating pathological conditions of the heart of mammals, a method for treating the heart pathologies and a multi-component cardiac stimulator. System contains a cardiac stimulator, an electrode with a tip connected to the cardiac stimulator electrical circuit, software for the cardiac stimulator circuit programming, as well as receivers for detecting and transmitting electrical signals from the heart that correspond to its operation. The multi-component cardiac stimulator contains the power supply, the control circuit, and the first and the second parts. The first part contains the electrode for implantation in the heart, separately from the second part. The second part contains an electrical circuit sealed inside the body and is implanted separately to connect to the first part. The second part contains a receptacle that is sized to accept the end of the electrode when the second part is connected to the first one. The receptacle’s electrical contact is electrically in contact with the end of the electrode and is electrically connected to the circuit. The seal of the second part tightens the receptacle, the body circuit and the electrical connection between the electrode and the body circuit. At the same time, the cardiac stimulator is adjusted to deliver electrical impulses to the heart. The cardiac stimulator is implanted at the location to deliver electrical impulses to the heart. The receivers are implanted at locations on the heart, which are controlled and regulated by delivering electrical impulses to these locations. Cardiac activity is monitored through receivers. Activity signals from receivers are transmitted to the cardiac stimulation circuit for processing. Trigger signals are transmitted from the cardiac stimulator to the receivers and deliver electrical impulses to the appropriate locations on the heart where the receivers are located.
EFFECT: improved cardiac stimulation using stimulation at desired points is provided due to positioning receivers at such points in the heart that would maximize the desired cardiac stimulation activity, controlling the location of receivers and the sequence of delivery of the receiver electrical impulses to appropriate locations on the heart.
