FIELD: pharmaceutical industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the pharmaceutical industry and namely to a fermented dairy product and methods for its preparation as well as the use of a fermented dairy product to improve the integrity of the intestinal epithelial barrier and the use of a fermented dairy product for the prevention or treatment of a disorder selected from the group consisting of inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, type 1 diabetes and obesity. The fermented dairy product contains the Lactobacillus rhamnosus CNCM I-3690 strain and the Lactobacillus paracasei CNCM I-3689 strain in a specific ratio, the Lactobacillus rhamnosus CNCM I-3690 content being at least 106 CFU/ml. Methods for producing a fermented dairy product include the step of adding the Lactobacillus rhamnosus CNCM I-3690 strain and the Lactobacillus paracasei CNCM I-3689 strain to the medium or the steps of inoculating the medium for fermentation and fermenting the inoculated medium with the Lactobacillus rhamnosus CNCM I-3690 strain and the CNCM Lacti until a certain ratio between the strains and the content of Lactobacillus rhamnosus CNCM I-3690 is at least 106 CFU/ml.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides a product for improving the integrity of the intestinal epithelial barrier, and the product retains the probiotic properties of the Lactobacillus rhamnosus CNCM I-3690 strain in the presence of the Lactobacillus paracasei CNCM I-3689 strain.
