FIELD: diamond detectors.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to diamond detectors for measuring the characteristics of ionizing radiation. A diamond detector of ionizing radiation consists of a substrate, a diamond plate, two contact electrodes located on the edges of the diamond plate, leads for supplying a bias voltage and picking an output signal connected to the contact electrodes, while a light source is installed in the immediate vicinity of the diamond plate, optically coupled with a diamond plate.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving accuracy of measuring the characteristics of ionizing radiation with a diamond detector of ionizing radiation.
