SUBSTANCE: disclosed are a locking element (20, 40) of the rotor, a corresponding unit (22) and a steam turbine (2). Specific embodiments include the rotor locking element (20, 40) designed to hold the circumferential seal (24) in the steam turbine (2). The rotor locking element has the main part (26), the first arm (28) extending from the main part (26), the second arm (30) extending from the main part (26). The first arm (28), the second arm (30) and the main part (26) define the space (32) located in the axial direction between the first arm (28) and the second arm (30), while the locking element also has a protrusion (34) extending from the second arm (30) in the axial direction from the specified space and made with dimensions that ensure its contact with the radially inner surface of the circumferential seal (24).
EFFECT: use of the seal becomes more efficient. The invention also prevents wear on the seal and adjacent components.
