FIELD: mass transfer apparatuses.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mass transfer apparatus that can be used in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food and other industries for the extraction and concentration processes in the "solid-liquid" system through the use of an extractant, intensive mechanical stirring and grinding of the components of the dispersed solid phase and extractant to form thin layer with simultaneous filtration at the place of mixing. The device for separating a substance into soluble and insoluble parts contains a vertical cylindrical body in the form of a hollow glass with a lid, an opening for supplying feedstock and extractant, a cylindrical filter element concentrically located inside the body, a separating chamber formed by the space inside the filter element, an opening for extract output and container for collecting the extract. The body is made rotating around an axis, in the entire volume of its walls there are magnets, the magnetic axes of which are directed perpendicular to the axis of the body. Inside the filter element, a working element is concentrically installed, which is a cylindrical part, along the entire length of the surface of which, perpendicular to the axis, there are annular radial grooves, on the lower surfaces of which (shelves), there are metal balls made of ferromagnetic material, driven by magnets in the wall of the rotating body. Between the inner wall of the filter element and the shelves, as well as the lower part of the working element, there is a gap less than the diameter of the ball. The housing cover, the filter element and the working body are mechanically connected and fixed.
EFFECT: increased extraction efficiency by intensifying mass transfer processes, shortening the extraction time and increasing the wear resistance of the filter element.
