FIELD: livestock management.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the management of objects such as livestock, in particular to a system for managing livestock facilities using devices for sorting objects, and a method for sorting objects for livestock farming, performed by a device for sorting objects. The livestock facility management system contains a data collection gateway and multiple facility sorting devices. Each of these devices is configured to receive parameters related to objects in a livestock farm from a server through a data collection gateway, and the parameters include a reference threshold mass of objects. The object sorting device is also made with the possibility of collecting the masses of objects by means of sensors, adjusting the reference threshold mass based on the obtained parameters to create adjusted threshold mass and sorting objects into different zones in the animal husbandry based on the adjusted threshold mass and the collected masses. A device for sorting objects for a livestock farm contains an entrance gate, sorting weighing equipment connected to the entrance gate, an exit gate connected to sorting weighing equipment, a sorting gate, a plurality of gates connected to a sorting gate, and a processor and memory with saved executable commands. These commands, in response to execution by the processor, cause the object sorter to open the entrance gate to allow an object to enter the sorting weighing equipment through the entrance gate. Then, the mass of the object is obtained using sorting weighing equipment, the sorting gate is moved based on the mass of the object to form a passage between the exit gate and one of the many gates, and then the exit gate is opened to allow the object to pass through the passage and get to one of the many gates.
EFFECT: technical result achieved in this case is to provide ability to effectively sort livestock in separate groups or collect accurate data related to livestock, without re-training livestock.
