FIELD: electronics materials.
SUBSTANCE: luminescent glass refers to the materials of quantum electronics, optics and can be used in devices for displaying information, electron-beam devices, indicator technology, white LEDs, scintillators, cathode and X-ray phosphors, alpha and beta radiation visualizers. Luminescent glass includes Bi2O3, B2O3, SiO2, Al2O3, BaO; SrO; ZnO and Eu2O3 and Ag2O with the following ratio of components, wt.%: Bi2O3 30-35; B2O3 20-23; SiO2 15-18; Eu2O3 7-17; Al2O3 3-6; BaO 4-6; SrO 4-6; ZnO 4-7 and Ag2O 0.001-0.1.
EFFECT: luminescent glass characterized by a stable and high luminescence intensity of Eu3+ ions at the wavelength of the 5D0→7F2 electronic transition.
