SUBSTANCE: invention relates to materials for quantum electronics, optics, functional electronics and can be used in optical devices, in computer science and laser technology devices for displaying sign, graphic and television information, in white LEDs, scintillators, cathode and X-ray luminophores. Luminescent oxyfluoride glass has the following composition (wt.%): 20BaF2-12SiO2-23B2O3-(25-x)Bi2O3-xEu2O3-ZnO - the rest, where 3 ≤ x ≤ 6.
EFFECT: increase in the luminescence intensity of Eu3+ ions at the wavelength of the 5D0- 7F2 electronic transition.
