FIELD: communication technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a communication method realized in a terminal device which is capable of being connected to subscriber equipment of a first-type network, wherein the first-type network comprises at least one network unit for communicating with subscriber equipment. The method comprises stages in which one or more routing rules are specified for routing packets of a terminal device on the basis of information about functionalities received from subscriber equipment and at least one network node, commands to activate specified routing rules either in subscriber equipment or in at least one network node are sent, wherein routing rules identify either subscriber equipment, or at least one network node to send packets between a first-type network and a second-type network.
EFFECT: technical result consists in controlling the distribution of packets.
