FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: tape super flywheel comprises a rim which is wound with gluing high-strength steel tape coils onto the outer cylindrical part of the hub center. The hub center is made of a material with density and elasticity modulus equal to or lower than that of the high-strength steel tape. The centering tool of the tape rim and outer part of the hub center is configured to perform radial, tangential and axial displacement equally over the circumference. The centering tool of the center is made in form of three dowels with an equilateral trapezoid cross-section. The size of the larger base of the trapezoid section of the dowel in the outer part of the hub center exceeds the size of the smaller base of the trapezoid in the inner part of the hub center more than twice. By the second version, the centering tool is made in form of three cylindrical pin rods radially converging to the center. The pin rods are solidly connected by their outer external ends with the outer cylindrical part of the hub center, and the inner ends are made sliding in the inner cylindrical part of the hub center.
EFFECT: increased reliability of centering of rapid-turning parts of hub centers and tape rim.
