SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering. The tape super flywheel includes a rim wound from a graphene tape glued onto an elastic hub center. The last turns of the tape are secured with the possibility of their safe breaking when the permissible speed is exceeded. The thickness of the tape and/or glue on the inner winding should be made variable so that the stresses from rotation are close to equal for all turns.
EFFECT: increased energy intensity while maintaining a guaranteed safe rupture.
