FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to veterinary medicine and can be used to treat respiratory diseases caused by microbial infections. A parenteral veterinary composition for the treatment of respiratory diseases caused by microbial infections contains a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent of the oxicam family selected from meloxicam, piroxicam and tenoxicam, an antibiotic that is florfenicol, at least 35 g of dimethyl sulfoxide per 100 ml of the composition and at least one aprotic polar solvent, which is glycerol formal. The group of inventions also relates to a kit containing the specified composition and a means for administering the composition.
EFFECT: invention ensures stability of the composition and the preservation of the biological activity of its active ingredients as well as the absence of interaction between the two active ingredients.
