SUBSTANCE: method for protecting computer networks is intended for use in intrusion detection systems for the purpose of promptly countering unauthorized influences in computer data transmission networks based on the TCP / IP family of communication protocols.
EFFECT: technical result is achieved by dividing the response to the attacker into fragments and sending these fragments through numerous small time intervals, as well as sending them deliberately fake messages about a temporary or permanent impossibility of continuing the postal transaction. The technical result is also increased protection effectiveness.
