FIELD: coating technology.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to coatings and methods for forming coatings on substrates. The inventive polymer nanocomposite coating comprises an elastomer film containing at least 30 wt.% of conductive nanoparticles, expressed as the total mass of the elastomer and conductive nanoparticles, with these conductive nanoparticles having an average particle size along each measurement of less than 500 nm for nanoparticles having a ratio of length and width of less than 20 : 1, or have an average particle size along each dimension of less than 2000 nm for nanoparticles with a ratio of length and width of 20 : 1 or more, and these conductive nanoparticles are formed in assemblies of micro- and nano-size having morphology with inward angles, where some of these aggregates protrude from the elastomer matrix, thus revealing the morphology of aggregates with inward pointed angles and providing the desired roughness of the surface of the coating. A substrate and a method for producing a polymer nanocomposite coating are also described.

EFFECT: increased strength of a coating having a superoleophobic characteristic itself or in combination with other functional properties and having a good adhesion to substrates.
