FIELD: defence industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of suppressing the damaging factors of an explosion and can be used to isolate explosive or suspicious objects. An explosion localizer for isolation of explosive and suspicious objects is a container with a central cavity surrounded by walls of equal thickness on the top and sides. The walls are formed from a multitude of containers filled with dispersant, bounded by a shell of two-layer elastic material. A gap is made between the layers of the shell. The gap has a width of 0.1-0.25 of the container wall thickness, and is filled with a porous closed-cell polymer material with an apparent density of 10-300 kg/m3.
EFFECT: ensures the preservation of high protective properties during storage, transportation and use, including when the shell is damaged.
