EXPLOSION LOCALIZER WITH MULTI-LAYER ENVELOPE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2204801 C2

FIELD: localization of actions of explosive mechanisms, applicable at rendering harmless of dangerously explosive objects. SUBSTANCE: the explosion localizer has one or more vessels filled with dispersing agent enveloped by elastic material. The vessel envelope is made multi-layer with an air gap between the layers, having a thickness exceeding the thickness of the envelope layer by 2-10 times. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of protection of people and structures against the effect of explosive devices and keeps the protective properties, when the envelope is damaged.
