FIELD: computer data processing.
SUBSTANCE: present technical solution relates to the field of computer data processing, in particular to methods and systems for computer processing of specialized data to ensure the process of well drilling support. The claimed technical result is achieved due to a computer-executable method for supporting the process of drilling wells using a combined geosteering and petrophysical model, containing the stages executed by a computing tool, at which: create a primary geosteering and petrophysical model based on data on previously drilled wells; receiving data while drilling a developed well; updating the primary geosteering-petrophysical model based on the above-mentioned received data while drilling the developed well; using the updated model, the position of the wellbore in the target interval, petrophysical interpretation of logging data, the optimal well trajectory depending on the geological structural formations, reservoir properties and the position of fluid contacts are determined; evaluating the updated model of the well position within the target formation based on the trajectory as a function of reservoir properties; a signal is generated based on the results of the performed assessment and, if necessary, the combined model is adjusted to find the well trajectory inside the target formation with optimal reservoir properties.
EFFECT: main technical result is to reduce the error in modeling the trajectory of wells with the provision of wells not only in the target interval, but in the part of the formation with the best reservoir properties.
