SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of testing of an overvoltage limiter, in particular, to a method for adjusting the current distribution in parallel columns of resistors.The essence: resistors are put in n columns of resistors. A pulse current with In amplitude is applied to each column of resistors and current curves are recorded for each of the columns of resistors. M points on the pulse current curve of each of the n columns of resistors are selected and the current value at each of the m points on the pulse current curve of the column of resistors is obtained. A current distribution coefficient at a point on the pulse current curve for each of the n columns of resistors is calculated for each of the m points on the pulse current curves for n columns of resistors. The degree of dispersion of the current distribution coefficients at a point on the pulse current curves for n columns of resistors is calculated for each of the m points and the current-voltage characteristics are adjusted for n columns of resistors based on the degrees of dispersion of the current distribution coefficients at m points on the pulse current curves for n columns of resistors for their matching up.

EFFECT: technical result is to ensure consistency of the current-voltage characteristics of parallel columns of resistors and reducing dispersion of the current-voltage characteristics of parallel columns of resistors.
