FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring instruments for determining the angle of repose of bulk materials. The device consists of a body, a replaceable base surface, a mechanism for an angle of inclination of the base surface and an angular scale. The body is a rectangular parallelepiped made of optically transparent material framed outside along the entire perimeter with a metal edging in the lower part of which there are taps for supplying clean water from the water supply network and for draining contaminated water. To fix the angle of inclination of the base surface relative to the horizon, an angular scale is fixed on the side surface of the body. The replaceable base surface is a steel rectangular plate, smaller in size than the internal dimensions of the body, one end of which is pivotally connected to the tilt angle mechanism, and the other is pivotally connected in the lower part of the body.

EFFECT: expanding technological capabilities in the study of the angle of repose of the investigated bulk materials, including root crops and increasing the accuracy of measurements.
