FIELD: packaging.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for producing a bottle from bio-PETF resin. The method consists in polymerizing ethylene glycol in conjunction with terephthalic acid in the presence of a catalyst and in converting a bio-PETF resin into a bottle of a bio-PETF resin, wherein the copolymerizing component is not added at the copolymerization stage. Ethylene glycol and terephthalic acid are obtained from a biomass source. The catalyst contains an aluminium compound or a germanium compound. The copolymerizing component is isophthalic acid, cyclohexandimethanol or diethylene glycol.
EFFECT: technical result is a proposal for a method for producing bio-PETF resins produced from essentially 100% biomass-based resources, including the use of the maximum possible amount of raw materials produced from biomass resources with zero carbon emissions instead of raw materials produced from petroleum resources.
