SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an expandable polymer compound which contains: a) between 60 wt.% and 88 wt.% vinyl aromatic polymer and/or vinyl aromatic copolymer per (a)+(b), b) between 12 wt.% and 40 wt.% of a block copolymer containing at least one vinyl aromatic polymer and/or vinyl aromatic copolymer and at least one hydrogenated diene polymer per (a)+(b), c) between 3 pts. wt. and 10 pts. wt. of the expanding agent per 100 parts (a)+(b).
EFFECT: invention allows producing polymer compounds with lowered abrasivity and improved impact resistance.
