COMPLEX FOR THE CENTRALIZED DISTRIBUTION OF THE PRESSURE OF THE RESPIRATORY MIXTURE FOR SIMULTANEOUS AND INDIVIDUAL ARTIFICIAL VENTILATION OF THE LUNGS (AVL) TO A GROUP OF PATIENTS AND AN INDIVIDUAL GAS DISTRIBUTION UNIT PROVIDING AN INDIVIDUAL PATIENT WITH INDIVIDUAL AVL WITH THE HELP OF THE COMPLEX Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61H31/02 A61M16/00

Abstract RU 2745261 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a complex for centralized distribution of the pressure of the respiratory mixture for simultaneous artificial ventilation of the lungs (AVL) to a group of patients. The group of inventions is intended for a collective procedure of mechanical ventilation in a group of patients. It also relates to an individual gas distribution unit and a hardware and software center used in the complex. The complex uses a compressor, a system of sealed tubes, a system of air valves, a system for the formation of an air-respiratory mixture in its physical and chemical composition and physical characteristics. The complex consists of a pressure profile, which is a system of sealed tubes used unified for the entire group of patients and equipment for the formation and maintenance of positive and negative pressure in the ventilation system. The complex uses an individual gas distribution unit made with the ability to provide individual equipment for each patient for the implementation of an individual ventilation procedure. The complex includes the use of a hardware and software center and software for the implementation, management, and control of the functioning of the ventilation procedure. The complex uses compensating cylinders for accumulating high and low pressure. The accumulated pressure reserve of these cylinders is used to smooth out pressure drops in the pressure profile during the implementation of ventilation procedures as well as to quickly restore the pressure in the profile when it deviates from the norm as well as to temporarily maintain the pressure in the system during a short-term compressor shutdown. The pressure profile has a system of valves controlled by the program for controlling the ventilation procedure using the software of the complex and a system of emergency relief valves uncontrolled by the program. The pressure profile has a system of pressure sensors connected with the complex control system the readings of which are used by the system for the correct implementation of the ventilation procedure. An individual gas distribution unit determines the ventilation procedure on the basis of the functioning of its elements according to an individual program provided by a given control system through the functioning of its own valves, pressure sensors and additional equipment for forming a breathing mixture formulation. The individual gas distribution unit determines the ventilation procedure that is individual for each individual patient including individual time, speed, frequency and volume of inhalation or exhalation, the air-respiratory mixture in its physical and chemical composition and physical characteristics. The hardware and software center is a computerized system, which can be external or internal, with software installed on it. It combines all the elements of the ventilation system, controls the operation of all system mechanisms, collects information from all system sensors.

EFFECT: reduction in cost and simplification of manufacturing and transportation, implementation of individual ventilation programs for an almost unlimited number of patients.
