FIELD: hydraulic engieering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of hydraulic engineering, namely to devices for swirling the flow of water in pressure pipelines for various purposes. The device for swirling the water flow in the pipeline contains alternating strips of hydrophobic and hydrophilic material formed on the inner surface of the pipeline wall, located coaxially to the pipeline in the form of spirals to reduce the friction loss coefficient and maintain the laminar flow regime when the critical values of the Reynolds number are exceeded.
EFFECT: technical result is to reduce the coefficient of friction loss and maintain a laminar flow regime in pressure pipelines when the critical values of the Reynolds number are exceeded.
