FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to non-ferrous metallurgy and namely to the comprehensive processing of copper or copper-nickel materials, which can be used as copper concentrate from the flotation separation of matte or copper matte, including white matte, cement copper and other copper-containing semi-products of nickel refining with selective extraction non-ferrous and precious metals (PMs). The method includes roasting copper-containing material tightly, leaching roasting products, separating copper by electro-extraction from leaching solutions, flotation of the leach residue to obtain a precious metal concentrate and a chamber product containing mainly non-ferrous metals. During leaching, a -20 mcm fraction of sulfide-containing copper-containing material or sulfide solution in an amount providing residual sulfur in the leach residue of 1.5-2.5% is added to the roasting products.

EFFECT: reduction of PM losses, production of cathode copper of the highest grade and efficient flotation separation of PMs from the leaching residue.
