FIELD: glass production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the manufacture of coated glass products and can be used for glazing, for example, in double-glazed windows, in shop windows, in retail trade enterprises. In particular, a method for manufacturing a coated product, including a thin-film coating applied to a glass substrate, is proposed, and the method includes: the formation of an intermediate layer containing TiOxNy, wherein 0<y≤1, directly or indirectly on the outermost surface of the multilayer coating; and converting the intermediate layer to a layer containing or consisting mainly of TiOx, by exposing the intermediate layer to electromagnetic radiation. And the layer containing or consisting mainly of TiOx is the outermost layer in the thin-film coating. The electromagnetic radiation used in the conversion is preferably absorbed by the intermediate layer in an amount sufficient to heat the intermediate layer to a temperature of 500-600 degrees Celsius, while maintaining the glass substrate at a temperature below 300 degrees Celsius.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the resistance to mechanical damage of the glass product, in particular, the exclusion of the appearance of microcracks and star cracks under mechanical action.
